KEEPING VIRGINIA BEACH SAFE

VIRGINIA BEACH COMMONWEALTH’S ATTORNEY COLIN STOLLE
Since I began working at the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Virginia Beach in 1992, I’ve had one primary goal: keep the Virginia Beach community safe. Each and every member of my staff shares this commitment to fight for justice. In this mission, we strive for excellence, fairness and understanding, while respecting the rights of the crime victim and the accused.

The City of Virginia Beach is seeing some of the lowest crime rates in its history and is one of the safest cities in America. I credit this success in large part to the partnership among Virginia Beach residents, law enforcement, and the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney.
ABOUT COLIN
Like many kids in Virginia Beach, Colin grew up in a Navy family as the youngest of six children. The family moved to Virginia Beach in 1971, when Colin was one year old. He's spent his career keeping Virginia Beach safe as a prosecutor for close to 30 years. He's prosecuted every offense from speeding to capital murder.
MY WORK
I am committed to doing my part to be a leader in keeping Virginia Beach safe. I’m also very proud of the partnerships we have formed with area law enforcement professionals, city officials and community organizations who share my vision for a safe
Virginia Beach.
MY COMMITMENT TO YOU
It has been my honor to dedicate more than half of my life to public service for the citizens
of Virginia Beach as a member
of the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office. I will continue to fight
to keep Virginia Beach safe
using new and innovative ideas and programs that best serve
my community.
