KEEPING VIRGINIA BEACH SAFE

Although Virginia Beach is routinely ranked as a great place to live and raise a family, there are many people who do need help. My office is dedicated to helping those in need in many ways, including:

• Supporting victims and witnesses throughout the criminal justice process to ensure they feel safe to participate in holding offenders accountable for breaking Virginia laws; 

• Conducting educational outreach with parents and students at all levels in an effort to stop the cycle of crime and prevent juvenile crime;

• Working with senior citizens to help educate them on consumer fraud threats and potential scams to help them avoid becoming a victim of crime;

• Educating the public on important issues through Public Service Announcements, newsletters, and scam alerts.
